Speaking of bath time...we have gone from using the blue plastic baby tub, to just letting Elizabeth splash around in the 'big girl tub'. SHE LOVES it! She has been liking baths since day one. (Well, maybe week 2! But none the less, she cooperates well in the water!). I think bath time is much more fun for her now that she's not constrained in the baby bath. I don't blame her! It’s MUCH easier to splash now, AND play with her toys, AND grab for the water that’s coming out of the faucet! She's most likely going to enjoy the swimming pool when she gets the chance to experience that next summer, if not sooner.
Elizabeth is more mobile than ever now. She follows me around the house like a little puppy! She scoots around pretty quickly and she has a goofy little thing she does with her one leg, she sticks it out to the side (instead of crawling on BOTH knees, she crawls on one, and does this thing with the other). Whatever works for her I guess! I am just assuming that she thinks she can get from point A to point B faster this way. This just means that I must keep my house even cleaner than I try to already to do. NOTHING on the floors, all chords out of reach....and nothing small enough to fit in her mouth can be out! She's stays pretty entertained with her "kitchen toys" (a tub of toys I keep in the kitchen for her to play with when I am cooking dinner), and her "bathroom/tub toys"-- obviously, the toys she plays with in the bath tub, also became every day playing toys when she wonders into that room! And then, there is her Excersaucer that I still LIVE BY! Love it! And of course, she has many of many of many of other toys that she plays with religiously! Every room, it seems, she has a little stash of toys to play with, so she's never bored!
